Changelog.What's new in Potlot.

v0.1.4

One folder per project

Projects are .ptl files, each in its own folder with everything its agents made, and Home lists all of them.

  • NewDocuments use the shorter .ptl extension; .potlot files still open
  • NewDouble-click a .ptl or .potlot file in Finder to open it in Potlot
  • ImprovedEach project lives in its own folder, and agents run from it keep their files there
  • ImprovedDeleting a project moves its folder to the Trash and removes its agent conversations and their attachments
  • ImprovedExisting projects move to the new layout on first launch, with a backup kept in ~/.potlot/backup
  • FixedHome lists every project in the documents folder, not only recent ones
  • ImprovedHome remembers grid or list view
  • ImprovedImages and vector art being generated show a light grid of turning dots
v0.1.3

Pi, SVG and the right version

Pi works when Potlot is opened from the Dock, pasted SVG reaches the agent as code, and Settings shows the real version.

  • ImprovedAn SVG you paste or attach goes to the agent as its source, not as a picture
  • FixedPi is found when Potlot is opened from the Dock or Finder
  • FixedSettings shows the installed version instead of 0.1.0
  • ImprovedThe built-in Potlot Agent is hidden until it is turned on in config.json
v0.1.2

Install with one command

A single Terminal or PowerShell command now downloads Potlot, checks it and installs it.

  • Newinstall.sh for macOS and install.ps1 for Windows
  • ImprovedDownloads are checked against their SHA-256 checksum before installing
v0.1.1

Steer a running agent

Queued follow-ups now sit above the composer, where you can edit them, drop them, or steer the agent with one right away.

  • NewSteer: stop the agent and send a queued follow-up now
  • NewEdit or remove a queued follow-up
  • FixedSeveral queued follow-ups no longer fail with “the agent is still working”
  • FixedA typed prompt and pasted images survive switching tabs
  • FixedWindows: no console window opens next to the app
